The Champions of Change have been able to give new direction to society, I appreciate Adv Nandan Jha and his team for bring out a positive change in individuals and recognizing their hard work and skills to enhance prosperity to the nation.

A Champion is someone who is always involved in doing something innovative and by his efforts brings about a positive change in society. To felicitate such citizens, Champions of Change is being organized and I feel honored to have been awarded with Champions of Chang Haryana.

Champion of change Award is a great initiative towards honouring the unsung heroes of the society and the award is one of its kind where the eminent jury consists of former Chief Justices of India like KG Balakrishnan and Gyan Sudha Mishra. the Champions of Change Award is one such initiative which encourages people who work for the upliftment in various fields be it art, culture, music, science and technology or any other so that they can strive to achieve much more.

The award celebrates the Champions of the society and their great work for social wellbeing and it also motivates others to work hard and lead a beneficial path in the society. The organization discovers the hidden talent and brings them forward so that can be rewarded for their noble deeds.

I am proud to be receiving the prestigious Champions of Change award in ‘Social welfare’. Each time DMK govt. is formed social welfare schemes have been implemented in Tamil Nadu. Even when we were in opposition, during the pandemic, we came up with ‘ondrinaivom vaa’ scheme, which helped as a means of providing basic necessities and safety net to people by DMK.

Champions of Change is a highly prestigious award given to people who have brought about a change in the society in their respective fields be it social, cultural, literature or any other field. I myself feel privileged to be receiving such an honour on behalf of Goa and convey my best wishes to the organization that they will continue to do this noble work in the coming years.

Receiving this award is a happy moment not only for me but for Hamirpur Parliamentary and the entire state of Himachal Pradesh since the hard work of everyone engaged with the initiatives has been recognized.

These heroes are chosen by an eminent jury which consists of distinguished personalities like Justice KG Balakrishnan, Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra and Justice Dipak Mishra.

I am honoured to receive this award from former president Pranab Mukherjee. This award is special in many ways as the jury has chosen people from even states like Jharkhand where, due to illiteracy, poverty and tribal culture, people are not able to connect with the mainstream development.
